RAMPF Group Japan celebrates its 5th anniversary
With the formation of RAMPF Group Japan based in Osaka, the RAMPF Group, Grafenberg, took its first successful step on Asian territory. This year, the sister company is already celebrating its five year anniversary. The company has a turnover of 4.5 Mio Euro and is amongst the leading suppliers of modeling and tooling materials in Japan, supplying approx.1000 customers. Recently the company has started to supply mineral castings for machine frames.
New electro-casting resins to be presented at Electronica 2010
“It would be no problem to drive over a DC/DC-transformer, which has been insulated with our electro-casting resin, with a motor car – without breaking it”, explained Dr. Peter Gräter, Development Manager at RAMPF Giessharze. In his laboratory, the latest polyurethane and epoxy-based casting compounds have been created, which the company will introduce at the Electronica in Munich. The systems effectively protect power electronics and power supply systems against moisture, shocks and overheating. This also predestines them for use in hybrid and electric vehicles.
