RAMPF presents new electro casting resins at EP Shanghai

Innovation is the topic at the centre of attention at this year’s Electronica & Productronica Shanghai, China’s platform for the electronic community. With this in mind, RAMPF Dosiertechnik and RAMPF Giessharze will be presenting a number of innovative products based on polyurethane, silicone and epoxy in particular for automotive and sensor technology applications. A special highlight are new electro casting resins which are characterized by high temperature resistance, a high degree of resistance to hydrolysis and fire resistance. The application is shown live by the compact dispensing cell DC-CNC at booth 4140, hall E4.

Casting of sensors

The electro-casting resins defy both fire and water and are suitable, amongst other things, in par-ticular for casting sensors.

The elements fire and water are not the only enemies of electronic components – all the more important it is to protect these parts using electrical casting resins. RAMPF Giessharze and RAMPF Dosiertechnik are therefore jointly presenting a broad range of electrical casting resin products, which defy both heat and moisture. Both companies have 25 years of experience in this area – custommade electro-casting systems. In this respect, the emphasis is on a holistic solution – i.e. both the machines and materials used are from the same supplier. The products of both RAMPF companies can be obtained over the own subsidiary RAMPF (Taicang) Co. Ltd. and the partner Orient RAMPF dosing based in Suzhou. Furthermore worldwide services are guaranteed through service representatives in Korea, India and all over the world. The product range of RAMPF Giessharze consists of high performance polyure-thane, polyurethane-foam, silicone or epoxy casting materials for insulation, protection and embedding sensitive components. These products are therefore particularly suitable for use in the areas of sensor technology and the automotive branch. During the Electronica&Produtctronica the company shows new electro-casting resins which are characterized by high temperature resistance (heat class F 155°C), a high degree of resistance to hydrolysis and fire resistance (UL listing). Furthermore, the products possess excellent insulating properties and are highly resistant to mechanical influences. They are therefore particularly well-suited for casting sensitive electronic components. RAMPF Dosiertechnik will be presenting the compact dispensing cell DC-CNC. The DC-CNC is the optimal solution for reliable casting, foaming, sealing and bonding. The universal genius can process two to three components. Traversing, material preparation and dosing are a compact unit. The core of the DC-CNC is the patented low-maintanance dynamic mixing system MS-C. The state-of-the-art ceramic synchronizing valve technology allows the MS-C to dispense highly precise quantities.
