"India is one of the growth drivers. Huge investments are required", explains Dr. Klaus Schamel, CEO RAMPF Giessharze. The chemist above all, sees potential in the automotive and electronics industries. This has confirmed the first participation in the Elecrama in Bombay. More than 500 visitors the company received at the booth. "About 50 percent had very specific questions," says Schamel. Among the interested guests were well-known companies such as Tata Power and Tata Motors, Siemens, Schneider Electric, GE Lighting, which were open to the solutions of RAMPF. Great interest in the technologies and systems of RAMPF were also expressed by students from various Indian universities. "The openness to new ideas on the part of young generations shows what potential for innovation lies in India", said Schamel.

Since 2009 the RAMPF Group cooperates with Indian companies. The local partners distribute the full product range of RAMPF Giessharze and RAMPF Dosiertechnik. Even services such as sampling and contract manufacturing are part of the portfolio. On the Elecrama in January 2010, the companies showed amongst others the compact dispensing system DC-CNC of RAMPF Dosiertechnik and electro castings of RAMPF Giessharze. The DC-CNC is the compact solution requiring minimum space. It combines flexibili-ty and dynamics for the 2D- or 3D- dispensing of sealants, adhesives and resins. State of the art control technology joins dispensing technology with the precise movement of the linear robot. The modular control design allows fast and simple integration into any production system. The heart of the DC-CNC is the low-maintenance mixing system MS-C. In addition, the comprehensive range of RAKU-PUR® electro casting resins was presented with examples of different exhibits. The resins made of polyurethane cover a wide range of applications, e.g. PCB or sensors. Electro casting resins insulate and protect electronic components from humidity, water, dust and foreign particles as well as from chemical and mechanical loads. They optimize the insulation values and help that way dissipating heat from the components.
