RAMPF Giessharze expands electro casting range
With a comprehensive range of electro casting resins RAMPF Giessharze starts in the autumn. New in the portfolio are particularly soft casting materials based on polyurethane. They cover a wide range of automotive applications like sensors or circuit boards. RAMPF presents the innovations at the trade fairs Bond Expo (Stuttgart), FAKUMA (Friedrichshafen) and IZB (Wolfsburg).

Electro casting resins insulate and protect electronic components from humidity, water, dust and foreign particles as well as from chemical and mechanical loads. They optimize the insulation values and help that way dissipating heat from the components. The electro casting materials of the brand RAKU-PUR® provide a reliable protection. From now RAMPF Giessharze offers a new range of electro casting resins to all users.
The new soft materials are named RAKU-PUR 21-1001, RAKU-PUR 21 -1350, 21-2136, 21-1250, 21-2050. They display high elasticity and strength producing excellent temperature cycling behaviour within the range of -50 °C to +130 °C as well as resistance to vibrations. This ensures no crazing even in thick layered applications. Furthermore all have good adhesion to almost all materials used in electronics. The encapsulation of modules or sensors for automotive applications with the new soft range of RAMPF Giessharze are essential prerequisites for the reliable performance of these components.
