RAMPF takes stock of a successful Bondexpo/Motek 2007

It was meant to be something different – that had been decided by the companies RAMPF Automation, Giessharze and Dosiertechnik during the planning for the Bondexpo/Motek 2007 in Stuttgart - and implemented. About 500 visitors were able to see smooching fish, a water column, circling Swabian ravioli soup and extremely well-protected products.

An interesting meeting point the RAMPF booth 7101 in hall 7.

“Always dry and protected with RAMPF” - the trade fair appearance of the RAMPF Group stood under this motto at this year’s Bondexpo/Motek. The international group of companies presented three strong members at the new trade fair in Stuttgart: Automation, Dosiertechnik (dispensing technology) and Giessharze (casting resins). The uniqueness of the triad was not only reflected in the layout of the stand. The possibility of receiving polyurethanes with matching application and automation technology as a complete package found a lot of inter-est with visitors at the fair. The Bondexpo/Motek 2007 turned out to be a real platform for RAMPF to hold a true dialogue with the specialist public.

The approx. 100 square metre trade fair stand presented the products to some extent in extreme situations. The polyurethane adhesives, foam gasketsand electrocasting resins from RAMPF Giessharze were permanently under water. The new products were lined up around the small aquarium, such as especially dimensionally heatstable electrocasting resins for cars or spray-moulding technology. The latter illustrates a processing procedure for multi-layer components. The technology serves as a costeffective way of manufacturing large and complex parts in small series. These include motor bonnets for agricultural machines or connecting elements for sewage pipes.
A further spotlight was on the mixing and dispensing plant DC-CNC from RAMPF Dosiertechnik. Interested individuals were able to convince themselves on the compact dispensing plant about the efficient and fast processing of reactive resins in the low-pressure process. In combination with the MS-C mixing system, the machine is suitable for sealing, bonding and pouring applications. Thanks to this flexibility, RAMPF Dosiertechnik was able to gain definite orders during the trade fair. Even the item on display was given a “sold” sticker at the end. Surrounded by polyurethanes and dispensing technology the conveyor from RAMPF Automation carried out its work. Somewhat out of place – Swabian ravioli soup was served here – it nevertheless did not fail to highlight the ability of the Austrian company. The automation specialist has belonged to the Group for a year now. The product portfolio includes complete plant systems for the field of automation and conveyor technology. This includes conveyors of various designs, reverse conveyors, special workpiece carrier systems, rotary store, CNC portals or robotic gripping devices – simply everything to automate production processes.
