RAMPF Giessharze supplies sealing foam for biomimetic research projects at Freiburg University
For lianas, wound healing is a matter of course. Will this soon also apply for polyurethane foams from RAMPF Giessharze? The research team of Dr. Olga Speck from the competence network Biomimetics of the University of Freiburg has already succeeded in achieving this on a laboratory scale. At the specialist symposium “Innovative Sealing Technologies” at RAMPF in Grafenberg on 25th March 2010, the scientist introduced the first technical application: a self-repairing membrane for pneumatic structures.
New brand RAKU-SIL®: RAMPF Giessharze offers from now on various silicones
The RAMPF Giessharze GmbH (casting resins), headquartered in Grafenberg, introduces a new product area. From now on, the specialist for reactive resins offers in addition to polyurethane and epoxy various silicones - on request with the appropriate dispensing technology from its affiliate RAMPF Dosiertechnik (dispensing technology). The high-quality single-and multi-component systems with the name RAKU-SIL® are suitable for protecting, bonding, sealing and coating.
RAMPF presents new electro casting resins at EP Shanghai
Innovation is the topic at the centre of attention at this year’s Electronica & Productronica Shanghai, China’s platform for the electronic community. With this in mind, RAMPF Dosiertechnik and RAMPF Giessharze will be presenting a number of innovative products based on polyurethane, silicone and epoxy in particular for automotive and sensor technology applications. A special highlight are new electro casting resins which are characterized by high temperature resistance, a high degree of resistance to hydrolysis and fire resistance. The application is shown live by the compact dispensing cell DC-CNC at booth 4140, hall E4.
RAMPF Group wants to grow in India
After the successful participation in the Elecrama in January 2010 the RAMPF Group sees its growth in India further strengthened. The company intends to grow further through partners in the areas of reactive resins and mixing systems.
